How It Works

Betaine acts as a natural osmolyte, helping skin and hair cells retain water and maintain cellular balance under stress conditions. In surfactant systems, it helps counteract dryness and irritation, resulting in improved mildness and sensory performance.

  • Dissolve in the water phase before emulsification

  • Add at room temperature or with gentle heating

  • pH range of use 3.0–8.0; Avoid high pH formulations, pH≥10.
