Cetrimonium Chloride (CTAC)

(0 review)
Cetrimonium Chloride (CTAC) is a cationic surfactant and conditioning agent widely used in hair care and personal care formulations. It is especially valued for its excellent antistatic, detangling, and hair-conditioning properties. CTAC helps reduce static electricity, improves wet and dry combability, and leaves hair feeling smooth, soft, and manageable. It is commonly used in hair conditioners, shampoos, hair masks, creams, and leave-in products. Due to its positive charge, Cetrimonium Chloride readily deposits on the negatively charged hair surface, enhancing conditioning performance. It is particularly effective for dry, damaged, and chemically treated hair and is compatible with many emollients and conditioning agents when formulated correctly.
