BENEFITS & USES
Key Benefits
• Boosts foam volume and foam stability
• Enhances viscosity and thickness of liquid cleansers
• Improves creamy and rich lather feel
• Supports cost-effective surfactant formulations
• Compatible with most cleansing systems
Typical Applications
• Shampoos and hair cleansers
• Body washes and shower gels
• Liquid soaps and hand washes
• Facial cleansers (rinse-off)
• Household and personal cleansing formulations
HOW IT WORKS
CMEA functions as a foam booster and viscosity enhancer by stabilizing surfactant micelles in cleansing formulations. Its fatty acid structure integrates into surfactant systems, improving foam density and slowing bubble collapse. This results in thicker products with richer lather and improved consumer perception, without significantly increasing irritation when used at recommended levels.
